From gothic archetype to contemporary tribal and rock glamour, Manuel Bozzi's vision is a symphony of style and material.
There are those who design jewelry. And then there are those who, like Manuel Bozzi, forges them with his soul. Born in Pisa on September 22, 1973, the son of Riccardo (artistic director of Teatro Verdi) and Lydia Nissim (a goldsmith artist and painter), Bozzi grew up immersed in the lights of the stage, the boards of the stage and the precious metals of his mother's workshop. This is where his vision was born: a powerful, sensual and alchemical aesthetic that blends rock roots, romantic spirit and cultured craftsmanship. His manifesto? A word he coined himself: Rockmantique.
After studies in visual communication, his artistic debut led him to collaborate with such icons as Francois Girbaud and to the creation of ZighidiCollection, a springboard to the Paris trade fair. In 2002, he founded with his historical partner Luigi Ranchelli the brand Clan Banlieue, a luxury line that crosses jewelry and fashion, followed by the creation of the famous bracelet Mambam - today a cult must-have and an identity symbol of his creative universe.
Winner in 2007 of the Premium Young Designers Award in Berlin, Bozzi is internationally recognized as one of the most authentic ambassadors ofcontemporary Made in Italy. His creations appear in the world's most exclusive concept stores, online at manuelbozzi.it, and in his flagship store in Pontedera, established in 2014 under the direction of his wife Chiara Vigilante.
Worn by stars such as Achille Lauro, Renato Zero, Pierfrancesco Favino, David Guetta, Asia Argento, Damiano of Måneskin, Laura Pausini and dozens of others, Bozzi remains a stylish outsider, capable of turning every creation into a statement of identity.
