BEARD COIN
In the late 1700s Peter the Great enacted a law forbidding men to grow beards and ordering those who still wore beards to shave them off. This measure was part of a new vision of the Tsar who wished to Westernize Russia. Beards were associated with barbarians and considered obsolete and vulgar. Those who wished to keep it had to pay a hefty tax. As a receipt for the payment the bearded person received a silver coin, which Manuel, after 300 years, wished to faithfully replicate.
The weight of the jewelry is purely indicative and refers to a center size, which is why it can vary widely.

925 Silver is the material that has always characterized Manuel Bozzi's creations. Over time, the collection is enriched with 18k gold, 9k gold in both yellow and pink, and bronze, which is juxtaposed, blended or alternated with silver to create unique color contrasts.
The objects in the collection are often embellished with elegant stones such as Polynesian pearls, black onyx, rock crystal, smoky quartz, amethysts and garnets from Mozambique with cabochon or faceted cuts, or with metallic and ferrous stones (e.g., pyrite), or even gemstones such as white and black diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and brilliant-cut rubies, used for the most valuable versions.
